Bales Day 6:

Forgive me for failing to write the last days of what took place in the West Europan nation. Not that anything really intriguing occurred. Days of meetings, eating and drinking the same food and whatnot. Leisurely strolls through enchanting forests at various times of the day and night.

Overall a nice pleasant week in Bales it was. Old King Llŷr was happy and content to know the relations of Neighpon and Bales are fully restored and warm once more! Leaving us with more parting gifts, presenting me with old texts of Belsh Legends and Myths such as the White Book of Rhydderch, this seems to be written in the old Belsh tongue. Truly a treasure to place in my office with other dusty old books. I let out a chuckle with this in mind. My sister Peony was given a lovely turquoise charm necklace and dark green cloak with hood, mother getting a golden goblet studded with emeralds and moonstone. Aurora Relic got more books of Belsh Fairy Tales, something more suitable for a little filly but still thoughtful gift nonetheless. Also taking along twenty five barrels of authentic Belsh dark ale and fifteen crates of their cheese to fit in the Palace pantries once returning home. Coming along with us is Lord Pwyll whom I met with a few days ago, curious as he wanted to see what the Eastern Ends of the world has to offer, apparently hearing stories of the beauty of Neighponese landscapes.

Since the way back is long and tiresome, we had to dock the Sapphire Arrow midway for refueling purposes. Getting as far as the Achemaneid Empire before running low, we stop and landed at the capital city of Tehrein, spending hours to refuel in the desert region before lifting off again towards Neighpon with crew and precious cargo onboard. Finally made it back to Neighpon, I am unfortunately strapped down back to my royal duties tomorrow...it is late and I have a full packed schedule tomorrow. I wish to rest now.

Prance Day 1:

Finally had arrived in the Sapphire Arrow in the land of Prance where we, my family had been invited for a week to stay with the King and Queen's château on the Côlt d'Azur in Western Prance, at its seaside and maritime borders. Coming with my is my lovely wife the Empress Star Cluster, our four wonderful foals. This is Quasar Sky's first international trip ever. He did well for a five month old on a long ass flight, and also bringing along a group of my highest ranking officers, they too deserve a decent time to relax as they work very hard to ensure safety of my ponies. Commander Nyx Aether, Lieutenant Nightfall, Captain Aoi Sora, and Admiral Azure Sai.

The long way here was far tiring. I will not do much on the first day as we arrived late to the château, we were all welcomed warmly and quickly rushed to a ready made dinner in the dining hall. A grand feast of 'salade niçoise' camembert cheese and black truffle on toasted wheat bread, with a glass of vin jaune and for dessert, lavender crème brûlée. Lovely meal, I could live off this for the rest of my life. Haha! But adieu diary, I will compose more tomorrow when I'm well rested and the day is well over.

Prance Day 2 and 3:

Zeus dammit! Forgive me my diary. It happened again, I repeat the offense of neglecting to write in you what had happened the last two days. So I will sum it up right now.

Our second day here in the Prench Riviera was bland but at most relaxing and rejuvenatingat best. We all spent the entire day at the beach, soaking up some nice sunrays. I decided to go for a dive as deep as possible, even dropping into local seapony territories off the shore. I had dined with the Ysian seaponies, a nice meal of seaweed salad. Come sunset, I return back to the castle and indulge in a nice red wine with a book, to which I regretfully pass out on until the next morning.

So forth the next morning, it began with a simple meal of hot chocolate, and crossoint with white truffle butter. I spend a majority of the day flauncing through the open air markets, I pick out a nice golden and emerald broach for my wife, said to belong to a old Prench queen 1000s of years ago. I myself purchase a light royal blue silk shirt with a pattern of fluer de lis, it is soft and velvety to the touch and is very delicate. Sunset comes again, and we all return back to the castle to a dinner of lavender alfredo fettuccine pasta with warm garlic bread and sparkling white champagne to wash it down. Pray I do not forget to log tomorrow's events.

Prance Day 4:

So, for today and tomorrow. My family and I were given a tour of the Ponvençal, which is the Southern Prench countryside. Hoo-wee, is it hot and humid here during the summer! Reminded me of my earlier trip to Patrot Laos, minus the thick foliage of rainforest around. We were greeted by a heavy rainfall today, which is still going on as I write this all down. Settling in some small village where we got treated to a very country styled meal in the verdant valley. A meal of lavender seasoned haysteaks soaked in a vintage dry red wine with saffron rice. Today was for the most part...uneventful, tomorrow shall be filled with more activities since the weather forecast is supposed to be hot sunny and cloudless skies! We will tour more small villages along the Prance-Espoña-Germany border corner area which has a bustling city that is within all three nation-states. Not only that, but also a very popular tourist trap during the summer and fall seasons. Haha! Anyways, I desire to rest. Busy busy day ahead tomorrow.

Leapland Day 1:

Landing the Sapphire Arrow. I come solo on a diplomatic meeting in the country of Leapland. Kingdom of the reindeer race. I step out on to the arctic and snow covered terrain, greeted by a very frigid breeze. Meeting up with my reindeer escorts. They take me by carriage to the seaside city of Väälnekkoski. Wow, it sure is a bustling and peaceful community of ponies and reindeer living together in relative harmony.

Seeing as it's only three in the afternoon, yet with its location in the world and the time of the year. The sun is only above the horizon for less than five hours before the long cold evening sets in. I was treated to a meal of cloudberry and onion stew served with ruisleipä, a regional variant of dark rye bread. Which I was down with a glass of lingonberry mulled wine, brewed locally by some reindeer across the street in his tavern.

Later on, I take a stroll through a snowy pine forest in the cold and darkness of the night. It was a chilly evening with bright pinkish-purple hued clouds with light snow falling. Some reindeer bucks following me out of sheer curiosity, apparently they've never seen a pony before, let alone an alicorn from lands far far away from here. Heheh.

It was a nice warm welcome, now I sit here in my room at a nearby hotel, sipping another glass of that lingonberry mulled wine. Will document more tomorrow.

Crystal Empire: Day 2

Woke up to a chilly, snowy morning here in the Crystal Empire's royal castle. First starting the day with breakfast with Shining Armor, Cadence, and Flurry Heart. A nice meal of mint hot chocolate and crystal berry marmalade on powdered sugar Prench toast with honey. Mmmm mmmm!!

Afterwards, once leaving some Hearths Warming gifts for that little alicorn princess, Such a cutie she is! Anyways, Shining and I took a hike out to the mountains north of the Empire, going through some cave and collecting magic crystal stones to go through later tonight. After that was some unwinding in my guestroom until it was dinner time. A grand dinner of crystal berry salad with lavender spiced hay and white crystal sparkling champagne. I got to stop eating like this. Heheh!

So, it was a good day overall, tomorrow will be a meeting with Cadence and Shining Armor before I head back home to Neighpon. Oh, and to top it off. Aurora Relic made friends with a local crystal colt in the city. They played tag and hoofball. Also promising to be penpals! It's nice that he's making friends outside of his native homeland! More to write tomorrow!
