Character Image:
Moonflower is a short fawn-like pony. Her mane is very long and it sometimes drags along when she's walking. Her eyes are pale gray, easily seen as a blind pony. Her fur feels soft when touched, and her ears are usually low to display a shy persona. She has pink, blue and purple chrysanths flowers on parts of her mane, and petals usually fall leaving a trail.
Misc Information:
-I'm the kind of person who prefers to be able to have a small chat between RPs. I would love to be friends with the people who I RP with so I can feel more comfortable RPing with you and doing more RPs with you. /o/

-I don't have a content rating for my RPs, I usually go with a sort of 'teen' to mature rating. I don't like censoring myself when I feel like it's in my character's personality to curse.

-Yes I draw but no I will not draw your OC. Pay me to draw your OC. I accept USD, points, and art trades. My commissions are always open, just PM me.

History and Details:

Personality:

Moonflower comes off as a shy sort. Her voice is described as quiet and pristine. She hardly talks back to anyone and usually gives everyone kindness and respect, even if they don’t deserve it. She is however blunt when it comes to certain things to the point where it can offend someone. Her honesty is as brutal as a sharpened knife and the fact that it comes from a pony so shy is almost shocking. She very rarely smiles and often when ponies do see her smile it might be considered something worth being afraid about. She’s never a pony to agree with you unless it’s true.

Moonflower is highly alert to her surroundings, being born blind her hearing and smell is far better than her sight. She knows how to pinpoint ingredients by a single scent and she could hear things some normal ponies can not hear. However gaining sight again is something overwhelming to her. She’s prone to clumsiness and misdirection. Moonflower is also a child when it comes to seeing something new, and she wants to experience it for herself with full arms. Her attention is easily grabbed and she’s pretty stubborn when it comes to things she wants.

Moonflower is also naive as a child, and their is some evidence that was spoiled as a child due to her lack of important life skills. However Moonflower is very quick to catch on when it comes to the way someone speaks, and has learned to use her ears more in order to figure out what is happening. She has a good idea of who is angry with her and who is not, and can tell by the tone of your voice how you’re feeling. Moonflower is also prone to a short temper, and tends to get violent very quickly when she gets pissed.

A psychologist could easily see her personality comparable to a caged animal. Clam, sweet, and defenseless at first, but quickly snapping and turning violent in order to escape.

Backstory:

Moonflower was born in the poor ghettos in Tall Tale. Her parents being hippies and often went out to dangerous places and situations while protesting climate change. She had progressive blindness since when she was born and was often bullied because of it. She was clumsy, looked helpless and was an easy target. However her wits often saved her from being harmed. She wasn’t homeless, however her parents were never around enough to consider her a foal of theirs. Moonflower would beg in the streets for bits and often get enough to get something to eat at the pizzeria near her apartment building.

When she got into school at a very young age of four, she managed to get into the cliche of the school bullies. They treated her better than any other normal foal would, and as she grew her sight became faded and hazy. She had problems walking as she aged and they stayed with her to help her walk and get her something to eat. When she turned ten years old she lost her sight completely. The teachers are her school became worried about her health, and she was taken away by social services.

Moonflower was soon adopted by a rich family in the northern parts of Tall Tale who cared for her and gave her the help she needed. Moonflower slowly learned how to read, write with her sense of touch and had to go through blindness training when it came to flight. However she still hanged out with her group of friends who helped her when she was young.

Her adoptive family disapproved of her going back to the slums. At the age of fifteen she was secretly being used as a decoy by her friends to steal from the rich ponies and her adoptive parents. When they came over to her house they stole something from either her adoptive mother’s jewelry case or from her father’s study. At first they took small things, so it wasn’t a problem. However over time it got bigger and more expensive until her adoptive mother became paranoid.

When she turned eighteen, Moonflower was of age to receive a experimental surgery that would help her gain her sight again. Her adoptive parents paid for it and got it for her in a heartbeat and the surgery was surprisingly successful. Moonflower took a few weeks to recover until she went back to the slums to tell her friends that she was able to see again.

Once she told them, things turned sour very quickly. The next thing Moonflower knew it, she held a knife covered in blood and bodies laid on the floor. The sirens rang and she was arrested along with the others while she was in shock. When her adoptive parents went to court for what they did to Moonflower, they found Moonflower innocent due to the fact that an eyewitness coming out and stating that her old friends attacked her first and that she defended herself.

Very little what the judge and the others knew that the eyewitness was paid to stretch the truth by her adoptive parents. Moonflower hit them first, and brought them down to suffer from serious injuries when they walked away from her. The words: "We don't need to be your friends anymore." Rang through her ears and stabbed her straight in the heart. The eyewitness told the judge that she got hit and she attacked to defend herself. Once the whole thing was over, Moonflower was decided it was best for her to leave home to travel around Equestria.

Moonflower alone in her thoughts slowly discovered that she needed a purpose in life. Never having earned a cutiemark due to the fact that she was unable to find or had the chance to look for one as a child. She struggles to discover what her special talent is. However she fears it may be too late for her.
